When Crate of Nothing bounced up on Twitter i wasn’t quite sure what they were going to offer that was different to regular graze boxes and the like, so i was rather skeptical to test them out at first. Gluten free and dairy free treat boxes sent through the post is a most welcome idea.

One thing i love about the Crate of Nothing boxes is the lovely little information card, it details all the ingredients of the products in your box and on the other side it shows a ‘featured blogger’ of the month with a recipe they have shared. This month it was Hazel’s Box (Gemma Mcfarlane) @icedgembakes and her recipe was for Gluten and Dairy Free Chocolate Brownies. The best part is that the box contained all the ingredients to make them. I can’t wait to try them!

The quality of the products featured in my Crate was excellent, and with a few items that i’ve never heard of or tried before, this gives me hope that they will support new gluten free and dairy free businesses and products- it may even be a way to begin their exposure to a great target audience, and i’m all for supporting that.

1 Bakes Just 4U Lemon Cake Pot

The ingredients for the brownies.

My ultimate highlight was the Steph’s Kitchen Ginger Bread man, probably one of the best i’ve tried! Soft and not too sweet (even though there was icing), it was a really impressive gluten and dairy free treat.

You can either order a monthly crate for £20 or a single crate to try at £22.50, which does make me question whether enough people will buy the product on a monthly basis- for me it would be a bit too much, but if you do have that spare money and you’re fed up of having the same ole gluten free and dairy free products or scouring for new things then this may well be a great solution.Crate of Nothing, Gluten free, box, gluten free blog uk, gluten free blogger, uk, lifestyle blog uk Crate of nothing? Crate of everything it seemed! Give it a go, it may not be for you on a regular basis but this is a great way to introduce some new products and bloggers that you may never have heard of… a product which goes just that bit further into making you satisfied.

This Crate Of Nothing box was offered to me complimentary but did in no way reflect my opinion in writing this review.
